Dr. Raman Sharma is a UK-trained Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of clinical experience across the NHS (UK) and India. He holds a CCT in Old Age Psychiatry from the General Medical Council, UK, and is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, London (MRCPsych).
A decade in the NHS, brought home
Dr. Sharma trained and practised for over a decade in the UK's NHS (2007–2018), holding consultant-level posts in Old Age Psychiatry and completing higher specialist training (ST4–ST6) across the South West Peninsula and East of England deaneries.
He returned to Indore to bring that UK-standard, evidence-based approach home — founding Usha Ki Asha — Mind & Memory Clinic and consulting at leading hospitals across the city.
Areas of expertise
His special interests include dementia and memory assessment, old-age psychiatry, mood and anxiety disorders, and medication management. A published researcher and invited national and international speaker, he believes in a collaborative, stigma-free approach tailored to each person.
